For those of you who weren't there, last week's win was one of the best I've ever been a part of. It was especially impressive since we were sitting at the bar at 8:50 with only eight players.
I would re-tell all the details but I misplaced the scorebook in the drunken revelry following the game. Despite some factual gaps, I can tell you this: We jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first, weathered their comeback attempt as they tied it 7-7, then Jeff knocked in Jackie in the bottom of the seventh for an 8-7 upset victory.
There were many a highlight, including the debut of Rub bartender Erin playing for us, as well as Jason's out-of-town ringer Joe (both caught outs and reached base safely). Jason went 4-4 himself, as did Jeff who I think also had 4 RBIs, including the game winner.
I think everyone else had at least one good catch or kick, but like I said I can't get all the details down unless I find the scorebook. Sorry.
